After building and designing sets in the Film and Television industry I took to traveling the world for 3 years. This experience and the places I saw led me to make the decision to become an architect to create spaces and forms.

Wanting a well rounded, practical approach I began at TAFE Nambour to learn the fundamental of construction with a Diploma of Building Design. This experience was then leveraged to get into a Bachelors Architecture Degree at RMIT in Melbourne - a design focused architecture school whose urban approach would teach me the other side of design.

After graduating with distinction, landing a job in Gregory Burgess Architects had me postpone a Masters Degree in Architecture and over the years I worked for very different firms- Denton Corker Marshall's Aluminum Behemoths to Archiblox small Pre-built homes. My experience varied from building physical architectural models to training practices in upgrading to 3D BIM CAD.

With the imminent arrival of my daughter we moved back to the beaches, heavy rain and cane fields which symbolised our childhoods to raise her. Here I worked under multiple Noosa and Sunshine Coast Architects and designers before deciding to open a Building Designer studio.

​

I now focus on using the skills I gained to be a sole practitioner - connecting peoples homes to their site and place.
