The family home was built of a steep slope overlooking the Noosa National Park to the west.

The brief was to provide a connected outdoor living area with a flat area. to allow this the house is designed around a series of retailing walls.

The plan of the home is built along the suns path to ensure the house is warm in winter and the setting heat of the western sun is kept out
