Residential Beach House
Peregian | QLD
The project was a rare vacant block overlooking the Noosa National Park and Peregian Beach. The steep sandy site had been left as the original natural dune environment and had a number of very mature Banksia trees dominating it. The decision to build around as many of these fragile natives came as a way of preserving what made the block special.
The name 'banksii' means of the banksia and considering it was the second version of the house it seemed fitting
The home is designed as a 4 bedroom family dwelling with the ability to function on many simultaneous levels. Each space is separated enough to be private, but connected through the levels
